With the recent release of Madden NFL 2010 just in time to Super Bowl XLIV; EA Sports president Peter Moore announced the release of Madden in Facebook.
He said: “We have to make ‘Madden’ more accessible…” and “You’ll see us on Facebook going forward.” We have to keep in mind that Electronic Arts recently purchased Facebook games company Playfish in a $400 million dollar transaction; and although Moore didn’t mention this company in his plans to bring Madden to Facebook, it’s likely to use this company to develop and publish the game in the social media site.
We’ll see if this version centers in strategy or we’ll see a gameplay or graphics innovation for a Facebook game.
